Sunrise Roastery
A neighborhood roaster that outgrew its counter. Backers funded a second roaster and a patio; repayments come from a share of monthly cafe and wholesale revenue.

Hi, I'm the owner of Sunrise Roastery. We've been roasting coffee in the Arts District since 2019, and this raise funds a second roaster and a patio so we can finally keep up with wholesale demand from other local cafes. Thanks for considering backing us.
Their story
I started roasting in my garage in the Arts District back in 2019, selling bags out of the trunk of my car at the First Friday art walks. Sunrise Roastery opened its doors eighteen months later with three employees and one refurbished roaster. Every bag we sell today still gets roasted within a mile of where we sell it.
Our vision
We want Sunrise to be the reason people build a walk into their morning through the Arts District — and to be roasting wholesale for a dozen other Vegas cafes within three years, so the whole city can taste what a neighborhood roaster does differently.

Why this will work
These are the business's own statements and plans. InvestLocal does not verify or guarantee them, and projections may not be achieved.
Where the money goes
- Second roaster & equipment$35,000
- Patio buildout$22,000
- Wholesale packaging & delivery van$12,000
- Working capital$6,000
The growth plan
This raise funds a second roaster and patio expansion so we can triple batch capacity. Month 1-2: install the new roaster and train two more roasting staff. Month 3-4: open the patio for weekend hours and expand wholesale outreach. Month 6: reach six wholesale accounts across the valley.
Projection — an estimate from the business, not a guarantee of future results.
How we'll reach more customers
We already have two neighborhood restaurants asking to carry our beans, an 800-person email list built from three years at the First Friday art walk booth, and a loyalty program with 1,200 punch-card regulars.
Why us
We roast on-site in small batches, so every bag on our shelf was roasted within the last two weeks — most grocery-store and even cafe coffee sits for months after roasting. That freshness is why customers say our drip coffee tastes different.

Risk disclosures
You can lose your entire investment
Small businesses fail at high rates. If the business closes or its revenue falls, repayments stop and you may never receive your projected return — or recover your principal. Only commit money you can afford to lose entirely.
Returns depend on revenue, not promises
A Revenue-Share Note pays from a fixed percentage of the business's gross monthly revenue. There is no fixed schedule: low-revenue months mean small distributions, and zero-revenue months mean none. The estimated repayment timeline is a projection, not a commitment.
Revenue figures are self-reported in this preview
During this simulation phase the business itself reports its monthly revenue, and figures are not independently verified. Verified revenue feeds (point-of-sale or bank-data integration) are planned before any real repayments occur.
No equity, no voting rights, no upside beyond the multiple
A note is not stock. You receive no ownership, no vote, and no share of the business's growth beyond the fixed repayment multiple. If the business becomes wildly successful, your return is still capped at the multiple.
These notes are illiquid
There is no market to resell a Revenue-Share Note. Expect your money to be committed until the note is repaid in full — which may take years, or never complete.
Escrow protects the raise, not the repayment
Third-party escrow safeguards funds only until a campaign reaches its minimum target. Once released to the business, repayment depends entirely on the business's ongoing performance.
